Executive Director
Solomon’s Knot is looking for a new Executive Director to lead the company into its next chapter.
Since 2008, we’ve been redefining how early music is experienced: performing without a conductor, singing from memory, and bringing music written before 1800 to the widest possible audience. We are Baroque Ensemble in Residence at Wigmore Hall, tour regularly across the UK, Europe and North America, and our recordings have won international acclaim.
We’re now seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial leader to work in close partnership with Artistic Director Jonathan Sells — someone who will strengthen our foundations, expand our reach to new audiences and markets, and help take one of the world’s most distinctive vocal and instrumental ensembles to the next level on the international stage.
The role is part-time (up to three days a week), home-based and flexible, with national and international travel. Full details, including the person specification and how to apply, are in the job description below.
