A group of formally dressed musicians walking down a narrow brick alley, carrying a double bass and various string instruments.

Bach Christmas Oratorio

Solomon’s Knot performs Bach’s Christmas Oratorio entirely from memory and without a conductor, creating an immediacy and spontaneity that draws audiences into the drama of the music. The eight singers are both soloists and ensemble, performing with a virtuosic period-instrument orchestra in a vivid chamber-music style.
